kaneton is a micro-kernel which has been designed for building flexible, reliable and secure operating systems. Its source code is available on Github: http://github.com/kaneton/kaneton.

The kaneton project is composed of two very distinctive parts.

Educational

First, kaneton is part of the opaak educational trilogy. Indeed, the kaneton educational project consists in providing people everything necessary to learning operating systems kernel concepts.

Research

The kaneton research project consists in the development of a reliable, secure and flexible microkernel which is used as a basis for the kayou distributed operating system.
